THE COCKTAIL
Cool off with the Beso de Tigre (Tiger’s Kiss), the most popular cocktail at Summer House on Music Lane, Hotel Magdalena's full service restaurant. This reviving favorite (best enjoyed poolside) is the creation of Lead Bartender, Blake Brown:
"The Beso de Tigre is my ideal marriage of tiki cocktails and the margarita drinking experience. Smoky, spicy and earthy flavors give way to pineapple, ginger and 5 Spice. So basically, it’s a spicy margarita in a Hawaiian shirt."
BESO DE TIGRE
1.5 oz Blanco Tequila
.5 oz Mezcal
.5 oz Meletti Amaro
1 bar spoon Liber & Co. Fiery Ginger Syrup
Rim a double old fashioned glass with Tajin or chili salt. Combine ingredients with ice in a shaker tin and shake vigorously. Strain into the rimmed glass with ice and garnish with a pineapple wedge.
