What is the minimum order for embroidery?

The minimum is 24 pieces per design, per placement. If you need something different, our sales team would be happy to discuss it.

How is embroidery priced?

Pricing is calculated per item based on the stitch count. Bulk orders may qualify for discounts depending on the design's complexity and size. A one-time digitizing fee is required to convert your design into a machine-readable format.

How many thread colors can I use in my design?

We recommend 2 to 4 thread colors for clean results, but we can handle designs with 7 or more colors. Send us your artwork for a custom quote.

What file types should I submit for embroidery?

High-resolution vector files like AI, PSD, EPS, or PDF are preferred. Files should be at least 300 DPI at actual print size to ensure accurate stitching.

What’s the maximum size for an embroidered design?

Size depends on the garment and material. Hat embroidery is limited to a maximum of 4.7" wide and 2.25" tall. Other garments can range from 0.5" to over 13". Contact us to confirm sizing for your specific item.

What materials work best for custom bandanas?

100% cotton is ideal for screen printing because of its absorbency and durability. We typically use discharge or water-based inks for bandanas.

What is the standard print area for a bandana?

On a standard 22" x 22" bandana, the typical print area is about 20" x 20". We can also accommodate smaller print areas if needed.

What printing methods do you use for bandanas?

We offer both water-based and discharge printing methods.

How many colors can I use in my design?

We can print up to 4 ink colors. If your design requires more than that, please email us—we’ll let you know if we can make it work.

What type of paper do you use for screen printed posters?

We typically use smooth, uncoated 100 lb cover weight paper. If requested, we can order heavier paper or different colors. Heavyweight, high-quality papers are often preferred for their durability and ink absorption.

How many colors can be used in a screen printed poster?

Most posters use up to 4 colors, but we can accommodate designs with more—usually up to 6 to 8 colors maximum. Each color requires a separate screen and print pass.

What is the typical turnaround time?

Turnaround times generally range from 2 to 3 weeks, depending on the complexity and quantity of the order.

What are the artwork requirements?

Artwork must be screenprint-ready—300 DPI at the actual print size. If your file needs extensive touch-ups or is not print-ready, an additional fee may apply. Have a design idea but need help? Visit our custom design page—we’d be happy to help bring your concept to life.

What file formats should I use when submitting artwork?

We recommend using vector file formats such as .AI, .EPS, .PDF, or .SVG. These formats allow your design to be scaled to any size without losing quality.

What resolution is best for raster images?

For raster files like .JPG or .PNG, make sure your artwork is at least 300 dpi at the intended print size. Avoid enlarging smaller images, as this can cause pixelation and blurry edges.

How can I tell if my file is truly a vector?

A true vector file is created using vector-based programs like Adobe Illustrator. Simply saving a raster image as a vector file type doesn’t convert it into a vector. If you're unsure, our team can help verify your file.

How should I prepare my artwork for printing?

Follow these steps for the best results:

    1. Outline all fonts and strokes in Illustrator.

    2. Rasterize any layer styles in Photoshop.

    3. Place each color on a separate layer and label it clearly.

    4. Group similar-colored layers together for easy separation.

What if my artwork isn’t print-ready?

No worries! Our sales and art teams are happy to review and adjust your files to ensure the best print outcome. For more detailed specs, check out our Art Requirements page.

What finishing services do you offer?

We offer folding and bagging, hang tag application, branded label sewing, and UPC barcode labeling.

Why should I add finishing services?

Finishing services enhance your product’s presentation by making it retail-ready and professionally packaged. Everything arrives ready to ship without extra prep on your end.

With so many choices available, we recommend reaching out to our sales team to find the best fit for your needs.

We offer a wide range of custom stickers including die cut, kiss cut, clear, transfer, roll labels, and more.

What materials are used, and how durable are the stickers?

Most of our stickers are printed on premium vinyl with a permanent adhesive. They are weatherproof and built to withstand wind, rain, and sunlight.

Where can my design be printed on the koozie?

We can print on both sides of the koozie when possible. Bottom printing is also available upon request.

What is the maximum print size?

The maximum print area is 3.5" x 3.5".

Can I print on both sides of the koozie?

Yes, double-sided printing is an option.

What size do y'all accept?

We accept screens of all sizes although the largest screen we can burn is 36x36 in.

Can I bring my own screen for burning?

Yes! We require that you provide your own screen, as we do not supply screens in-house.

What kind of artwork do I need to provide?

We recommend high-contrast black and white images in vector format for best results. If your design is in color or not print-ready, we can convert it—though additional fees may apply depending on the file.

Do you sell or provide screens?

No, we do not provide screens. If you need one, we suggest checking out River City Graphics or a local screen printing supply shop near you.
